Here are some of the latest fabrics I have been working on that are being turned into cushions after xmas! Its been snowing here, and all over the south-east, a little too early to be sure we will have a white xmas this year and maybe I'm showing my age but I'm not convinced I want one (what a Scrooge!). Anyway, wishing you all a very merry xmas and a happy new year! xxx

I was recently in my old schools magazine- The OC (old chigwellian). It was a great opportunity to show everyone what I have been up to and really nice to remember some of my creative school days. They managed to dig out a brilliant old photo too to add in which was a suprise!

So...here are a few images of my work at the Visual Arts centre Havering. The Opening night went well, it was a good turn out with lots of friendly faces, and some new ones too. Generally good feedback, but then I figured people tend not to be rude to your face. Currently woring on some cushions, a chair and a skirt....will keep you posted!

Its 11:33pm and im beginning to wonder whether I should be going to bed or writing on my blog? Il comprimise and keep it brief. I am just in the process of finishing my degree in Printed Textiles at Loughborough University. My final project is based on Imagintion; how it can take us to worlds that never were, it tries to evoke memories and encourage imaginative thoughts. The more you look, the more you see. I try to be fun, there isn't a serious message, just an escape from reality. An attempt to take you somewhere else, even if just for a moment. Your imagination is a beautiful thing...
